Your Birth Bag
Let’s Pack your Birth BAg!
Your estimated due date is fast approaching, and things are (maybe!) starting to feel real!
One way that may help quell your anxiety is to organize and pack your birth bag for the birth centre or the hospital. Even if you're planning a home birth, you should have these things organized and handy for when you need them at home or if you change your mind about location during labour.
I highly recommend packing ONE large rolly-bag suitcase with a bag/ container for each family member within the suitcase and a backpack for essential/ quick access items and snacks. If you are going to a hospital, you will likely move from area to area/ room to room a few times, so keep it simple and contained. Remember, you'll have to carry a car seat & baby(ies) when you leave too!
Have you got questions? Are you starting to feel anxious about your birth and thinking how am I going to do this? I’ve got you!
